my engine block reads 3908952,the last 4 digits are barely readable,theres no such # in my books,could this be a 3903352 block ?

that is the part number for teh engine block. If you look on the pad in front of the right cylinder head there will be numbers there. It will be behind the alternator. If you send me the code numbers via private message i can tell you what the engine was originally used for. it will have a letter like fa or v or k or t, then numbers then 3 letters like cab. send that to me via private message then i can get back with you fairly quick.....
