I replaced the break booster in my car now it is making a whistleing sound. Why? And what can it be?

It sounds like a vacuum leak. Make sure the vacuum hose going to it is not damaged or cracked where it attaches to the engine or the booster. Also, make sure it hasn't dry rotted. If that all looks good, you need to get a vacuum tester and place vacuum on the booster to see if the new booster is making the noise. Believe me I have gotten new parts that were bad.

Let me know what you find, and we'll go from there.
