2003 Chevy Monte Carlo whistling noise

When my car is put in reverse something is giving off a whistling noise. It is not coming from the brakes since it continues if the car is at a dead stop. The cars idle is fine and the transmission does not slip and the fluid is fine also. Is this something I should look into more?

The sound could be coming from a few things. I recommend having it checked by a trans mechanic. It may be nothing, but better safe than sorry.
