Why after running the engine do I smell coolant outside the car, yet there are no coolant leaks?

You may have a small coolant leak that is burning off before it hits the ground, this is normally the case when you have a strong coolant smell, get a cooling system pressure test done first as this will locate any small external leaks, start here.
