2003 Chevy Monte Carlo Bad Ignition cylinder

2003 Chevy Monte Carlo 6 cyl Automatic

I know I need to replace the ignition cylinder and know how to do so but I do not know how to reset the chip once I have done so could you help please

Hi:

You will need to go to a dealer to have that done. It requires an update sequence to be followed, and special tools to complete it.
