a few days later after i had the trans flushed, i started to experience a problem. Every once in a while i would feel a thumping or jumping noise possible coming from the trans. When this happens, it does it when it shifts. but the when i park my car for a while then take it on the road again, the problem goes away. I replaced the trans mount but 5 days later the noise occured again. Please help. I have taken the car to 2 different mecanics but they have problems diagnosing the problem maibly because when i bring the car to the shop, it won't make any noise.

yes i have check motor mounts and trans mounts...right now i have my car sitting at a shop that specializes on transmission. The mechanic has told me that my trans needs an overhaul. I'm gonna pay about 2000 he told me. Is an overhaul necessary or could the problem just be the pressure control solenoid. To replace the solenoid is about $700. But he insists that at this point it's better to the the overhaul.
