I ran over a pot hole and now it feels like my car is rolling on a oval wheel. I checked the rim and wheel and they seem to be fine. Could it be the strut

may have broken a belt in the tire that is not visible by the untrained eye. if tires are for sure good then would more likely be a ball joint failure than a strut failure. only way to know is to remove the wheel and tire assembly and inspect visually the suspension on the concerned area.
