2002 Chevy Monte Carlo engine idle

I just had my catalytic converter cleaned out...it was plugged. Now he car idles arond 1500 rpm, it used to idle around 1000. is there anyway to adjust the idle down?

You can't adjust the idle speed. It's adjusted automatically by the pcm.
High idle could be the result of a sensors not working properly, or a vacuum leak.
You may need to have your car checked for what's causing the high idle condition.
