my car gave a code, P401( NOT SURE IT'S THE RIGHT CODE) egr insufficient air flow so i changed the egr valve and cleaned the whole system and the service engine light still comes on?

Could be a wiring problem on the EGR feed circuit. That could be anywhere between the valve connector to the PCM.
