When I shut off the engine, it sounds like the fan continues to run and now there's a sqeaking noise too. I know that there are some cars that do that but this car has never done that before. Does this sound like a major repair issue?

Hi:
It is normal for fans to sometimes run for a short period of time after the car is off. When it happens, open the hood to confirm it is the fan running. Also, make sure that is where the squeak is coming from. If it is, you may have a fan motor going bad.
