I replaced the master window switch (driver side), the old switch for the driver side window wore out the passenger side worked fine, so I changed out the switch and tested it out, worked fine. Next day, pushed button for driver side window, nothing. Passenger side window ok. Is this a common problem what next?

Hi tom59. Can you add some detail or be more specific what you mean by "pushed button for driver side window, nothing. Passenger side window ok". I assume you mean the driver's window doesn't work in either direction, and the passenger window works ok from the driver's switch. If that is correct, it would appear the wiring between both front door hinges is ok, and the likely suspect would be the driver's window motor. I can walk you through the test procedure if you have a test light handy.
