My heater/AC, cruise control and overhead display has been malfunctioning since the end of last winter. It wouldnt turn on when I first start the car, but some time during my drive they would come on. Now they have stopped coming on completely and with the weather getting bad I need my heater. Is this issue an easy fix like a relay or fuse or should I take it to a mechanic?

Well I don't know if this will be easy to fix need to know what the problem is first. Weather or not to take it to a mechanic depends on how comfortable you fee with using a digital ohm meter and doing some testing with my guiding you through it. Let me know what you want to do and we will see if can't get you heat. I do need to know does the blower motor come on and work with all speeds or not?

I also need to know if you have a digital multi meter so we can do some testing? If so then what I need you to do first is see if there is power at the blower motor with the selector set on any speed.

I do not have a digital multi meter, but can borrow one from my work on Thursday. I will check the power at the blower, where should I look next if I do or do not have power there?

Ok there is a blower motor module connected to the blower motor. Looks like it has a 9 connector harness to it. Three look to be black, two go to the motor itselft and one goes to ground. Two orange wires one comes from the heater control should have power on speed 5 and the other should have power coming from the blower motor fuse 25amp. There is yellow speed 1, there is tan speed 2, there is lt blue speed 3, purple speed 4. Check for power to the module at the wires listed above when set on the setting listed for each wire. The voltage should increase as the speed increases. Let me know what you find ok.
