Noises problem
2001 Chevy Monte Carlo 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 99k miles

When I push the gas pedal the car makes a strange noise. does not make the noise when i coast or step on the brake when i reverse and push the gas pedal it kind of hops i guess i would call it or feels like im running something over when im not.

Is your "check engine" light coming on at all?

yea the check engine light is on and today the car just stopped and would not move... it would start but not move when the tow came he couldn't pull the car on the flat bed the wheels cranked he had to lift and do an old fashioned tow... since its labor day its sitting outside the shop no clue what wrong still
