i HAVE BEEN QUOTED APRICE OF 1700.00 TO REPLACE ALL FOUR STRUTS. dOES THIS SOUND RIGHT?

that is a bit high, you should check around try to find a place that iwll do it for atleast 1500. but if the more expensive one is ase certified and the cheaper one is not, i would go with the other one as it will be done right.
