2000 Chevy Monte Carlo My brake light is on.....

When i was driving home i was in the car for about 10 minutes when the car started to slow down on its own then speed up and the brake light suddenly came on. It feels as if the brakes are stuck or something. Please help.

If the light is on, have the computer scanned for codes. Take it to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan it for you. Most will do it for free, so there is no money out of pocket.

Let me know what you find. Also, make sure the brake fluid is full.
