2000 Chevy Monte Carlo 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i put a new ign. because lost key;s now wont start but dash lights come on and acessories come on will not turn starter or injectors.

It is more than likely a defective switch, or the wrong part.

If you still have the old ign. switch, take it to a locksmith and have keys made, and the old switch inspected for any problems.

I have seen several aftermarket switches that simply do not work, even though they are listed as a direct replacement.
