What is involved with replacing the tcc solenoid. My vehicle flashes the code for tcc solenoid after it warms up, and shifts hard, almost as if the torque converter is in lock out in all gears. I have good knowledge of all aspects of auto mechanics exept for transmissions. When it comes to transmission problems on automatics, I usually replace them. I was wondering if you can replace the tcc solenoid from under the hood, or do you have to pull the valve body,or even worse the whole tranny? Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
