1999 Chevy Monte Carlo Question about the lower intake mani

My car has a problem about the cooling system. I need to add the coolant regularly so I went to check it. They told me that it is gonna cost over 800 to replace the intake manifold gasket since there is a leak there so the coolant is coming out. Can you tell me is that too expensive? Thanks
