1999 Chevy Monte Carlo Automatic 120000 miles

my car just starting acting funny. when i start it, the car will accelerate by itself, then stop and make this noise alomost like it's backfiring. then when i hit the gas, it will barely move for a minute then it will kinda jump off and start going. can you tell me what's going on with the car?

Check the idle air control valve, TPS,MAF,MAP sensors and the EGR valve.
