my wipers go up only a few inches and seem like they are stuck, the motor is working the hole time this is going on and also they only work on high when they do work but for 2 days now they will only go up about 2 inches. they go up and down continuously they dont actually stop moving they just wont go up all the way. im wondering if it may b the switch in side the car that u use to turn them on or should i be looking at something else. if it is the switch in the car is that really hard to change out you self. please help

It sounds like a linkage problem. The linkage is under the cowl at the base of the windshield. Remove the cowl and see if the linkage is damaged. Also, make sure the wiper arms are tight onto the mount.
