my car recently stoped starting its not the starter it was tested and everytime i go to turn it over the security light turns on i was told it was a easy fix what do i do to by pass it

I don't know how it can be bypassed. If the computer is not allowing the car to start, a dealer is the only one that has the equipment to repair it. I wish I had better news. Have you tried a different key?
