1997 Chevy Monte Carlo compressure will not come on

The a/c stop working i charged system/ no a/c then i changed a/c compressures/ and still no air could it be the low presure switch after i replace the a/c the clucth on the old compressure and the new compressure both click on strait wires

try disconecting the negative battery for 30 seconds reinstalling insure radio theft lock system is turned off.
