my car is at firestone had some test done for hesitation in exceleration test found that fuel filter fuel pump and a fuel line are bad plus a slight slip in 1st gear before i call firestone back to fix filter and pump i want to find out cheap options for fixing 1st gear tranny slip

There may not be a cheap fix. Is the ATF full? Is the fluid clean? If so, chances are the clutch plates are going bad and will need replaced.
