When I accelarate the AC fan slows drastacally,letting little to no air flow

Are you sure it's the fan speed or is it the air changing to defrost registers?

It is definitely fan speed loss of flow each time I accelarate.

You could check the blower motor resistor, it's mounted under the dash on the passenger side, attached to the heater plenum next to the blower. Is anything else affected? Lights get brighter or dimmer? Radio? etc...
