Car won't click, or crank. Checked battery 12.15 VDC, changed starter (thinking it was bad), same situation--no crank. Also have no noise coming from fuel pump. 4 days prior to problem, security light came on for a while then went out. One day proior, car started and immediately stalled. Started 2 more times and stalled-like I was out of gas. Put more gas in (fuel gauge jumps sometimes). Car ran fine. Turned off at home, next morning, no crank or clicks. All dash lights are on. Ignition key has chip. Tried different key-same thing. Removed remote start control unit (just unplugged it)-it has been in car for 9 years- same problem. Checked all fuses in fuse panel and fuse boxes under hood-all are good. Please give me some guidance. Thanks.

Hi:
If the security light is flashing when you turn the key to start, the system has disabled the engine. If you have another key, it may help if the sensor is bad in the one you are using. If it doesn't, you need to take it to a dealer to be checked. They will have the proper test equipment to identify a security problem.

I realize this is most likely not the news you want to hear, but I have no other suggestions.

Joe
