1986 Chevy Monte Carlo turn signals

Where is my flasher or turn signal indicator located. I have a 1986 monte carlo. The blinkers stopped working and it is not the fuse. Neither my husband nor myself can find the flasher to replace it. can you tell me where to find it.

if i remember right its on the fusebox , look for either a round or square canister about the size of a half dollar , about an inch long , ( this is inside the car to the left of the brake pedal )
