1986 Chevy Monte Carlo loss of electrial circuts

1986 Chevy Monte Carlo V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

all my electrical circuts went out when i went over a bump. the only things that work are turn signals and emergency flashers....do you know anything about this problem with other cars>

Always check the fuses first. Though if so many circuits went out at once, I'd suspect a connector has come loose, or a wire has broken. Possibly even a ground cable.
