1984 Chevy Monte Carlo 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

To whom it may concern: I have a '84 Monte Carlo that had a 3.8L 229 v6 (9) . In the 14 year's of having this car I tore the Engine apart to rebuilt it. But moving from place to place over the year's I lost alot of my engine part's including bolt's that connect all my bracket's.

Can I use the same bolt's from a v8 305 engine ( I heard the v6 229 and the v8 305 are almost the same).

Can you please give me as much info on what part's I can use from a 305 v8 and put it on a 229 v6.

Looking to rebuild my v6 229 since I already have all my bracket's powder coated and I got alot of chrome part's for the 229 v6.

Thank's Monte13

Before using them, put them in by hand to make sure they are the right size and not too long. If they fit and smoothly go all the way in, they should be fine.
