1980 Chevy Monte Carlo Headlights

Changed out headlight switch and fuses but the lights only come on for an instant and immediately shut off. All other lights work (dash, signal. interior); what should I be looking for next to correct problem and be able to drive in the evenings?

I'm using Alldata and Mit1 Auto references couldn't come up with a headlamp control module for yours an 82 has it-check if it has the HCM-Taped To I/P Harness, Beside Glove Box-let me know
