I am at my wits end with this car. It is a 79 monte with a 267 cb in v8 4.4 lt. I runs great on idle but when I go to acelerate it bogs down. it does not have a catliac converter, it has new autolite plugs gapped to .045, good cap and rotor, and plug wires. vacuum lines are good. I have not replaced any parts such erg, pcv valve, vac advance (i am wondering if this could be what is cuasing the issue). Any ideas??

I need you to check something. With the engine OFF, open the air filter cover. Look down into the carb and snap the throttle wide open and hold it. You should see a spray of gas. Let me know what you find.
