1979 Chevy Monte Carlo V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i cant get car to start. this is how i boght. I have changed the coil. moduel is good. i have gas coming to carb. engine turns but wont start. there is spark at cables. can u help me out

You got spark and fuel all you need now is compression-check it and also the firing order then report back
