2000 Chevy Metro check engine light

My car studers and seams like it doesnt have power , but then if you press the gas hard it trys to take off but doesnt always help ... the check engine light blink like 5 or 6 times . any help is more than welcome !!

It doenst sound like nothing major, but we need to get the check engine light scanned for the trouble codes, jot them down and bring them back to me for further diagnosis, Im thinking a multiple misfire, but may not be the case
