Chevy Malibu '99, 163k miles, 2 wheel drive, auto, 3.1L, v6
my car has all sorts of trouble but over the past few days its been shaking at first it was a really light shaking and I wasnt even sure it was the car cause I was on a dirt road but over the past few days its getting to be a little more shakier then the check engine light came and also my cars been revving a lot more then it used to Ill hit 2 1/2 rpms just to get up to 20 and im not shoving the pedal to the ground it used to take about 1 rpm to get to 20 so I dont know whats going on and school starts soon so I need to know whats going on so I can get it fixed or do it myself

Hello,
if the engine light is on go to a shop and have it scanned. And write down the trouble codes.
Should be like

p4044
p4005
something like that will be the code.

Bring the codes on here and i'll tell you what to change.
Most likely an airflow sensor. Any other info you could give would help me identify the problem

In Canada
we charge one hour diagnostics, so whatever the shop hourly rate is. X one hour

so I charge $78
