Recently purchased a used 2008 Malibu 2LT with 13k miles. Tires are in mint shape, but differ from rear to front. Rear are the OE Hankook Optimo H725A and the front are Hankook Ventus V4ES. Both pairs are the correct size for the vehicle.

I understand the Ventus are more of a High Performance model than the Optimo. Is this difference something I'll have to remedy or is this configuration okay?

As long as the tires are the same size, you should be fine.
