I hear a knock or click sound when im backing out of my drive way steering and now starting to hear knock when im turning into a street as well. i got struts replace, rack and pinion took it to the dealer 3 days ago they just told me newer models are program to make noise sometimes. I don't think so never heard this knock before I've had this vehicle for 3 and half almost 4 years. I think the dealership is lazy to pin point the problem.

You're right on! The lazy dogs at the dealership wont take the time to find out why there is a popping nosie in the front end. Check the lower ball joints by raising the suspension with a jack under the control arm to alleviate the load.

With a pry bar, lift up on the tire and see if you have any movement.

Let me know.
