Electrical problem
2006 Chevy Malibu 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
Brake lights don't come on all the time and sometimes only when pushed to the floor. Then they come on when brake is not pushed, just driving down the road. When I start to brake the brake lights go off. The cruise won't work when this is happening unless I am pushing the brake when setting it. I have had it worked on 6 times and it works for the mechanic after his work but the next time I drive it, it stops working. The brake light switch has been replaced multiple times by different mechanics and the "clock spring" in the steering column has been replaced. The trunk brake light has been replaced. Any ideas?
