I no longer have headlights. I have interior lights, brake lights and directional signals. Took the car in this a.m. and was told there was an open in multifunctional switch. It intermittently won't signal BCM (11 body electrical). They have quoted me a $750. price to repair. I am on a very limited income. My son is a very good mechanic. Would it be difficult for him to repair for me, or should the work be done in a Chevy garage?

Please advise.
