It began knoicking when my oil light flickered on. I put oil in it before it flickered on again. I've also added an oil additive trying that is supposed to clean the oil in case it pulled sludge up from the bottom of the crank case. It mostly does it on acceleration. Not at all when I let off the gas completely or when sitting still. I'm afraid that something is damaged. But it gets up to speed and I checked for water in the tail pipe and there isn't any. Any idea what might be wrong?

Okay don't panic. I am concerned about the oil light flickering and the engine knock. How often do you have the oil changed and where at?

I wnat someone to remove the oil filter and cut it open to inspect for any metal shavings in the bottom of the can.

Keep me posted,

Scotty.
