Water pump

Six cylinder front wheel drive automatic 120,000 miles.

Can you please advise what is involved in replacing a water pump and the approximate labor involved?

no 3.5 L 3.4 or 3.8 the instruction for the 3.4L Removal Procedure Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System. Remove the drive belt shield bolt. Remove the drive belt shield. Loosen the water pump pulley bolts. Remove the drive belt Remove the water pump pulley bolts. Remove the water pump pulley. Remove the water pump bolts. Remove the water pump (1). Remove the water pump gasket (2). Clean the water pump gasket mating surfaces. Installation Procedure Install the water pump gasket (2). Install the water pump (1). Install the water pump bolts. Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Install the water pump pulley. Install the water pump pulley bolts. Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb in). Install the drive belt. Install the drive belt shield. Install the drive belt shield bolt. Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Fill the cooling system.
