2004 Chevy Malibu warning light

there is a warning light on at the bottom of the engine temp gauge and i checked fluid level is good and temp is normal why is light on or do you know what is wrong ??

could you describe the symbol or have a pic of it? if it is the low coolant level warning light and coolant is full than the sensor which is attached to bottom of the coolant overflow tank is just bad and needs replaced.
