I'm not sure if you're referring to the "Throttle Position Sensor"? And are you sure there's something wrong with this sensor?

It's located on your intake manifold, right on the side of the throttle blades.

Before working on any computer controlled sensor, it's very important to disconnect the negative battery cable first. If you don't, you could destroy your computer.

There's a connector on the side of the sensor that needs to be unplugged. Then there's a couple of bolts holding the sensor in place. Remove those and the sensor will come right off.

Next remove the gasket, making sure the surface underneath is COMPLETELY clean before installing the new one.

When installing the new sensor, you must make sure the small spring inside is indexed properly, or it'll send false information to the computer.

Installation is the reverse of removal.
