After turn indicator returns to normal position following a turn, the indicator continues to click at an inrregular and erratic rate for several minutes before stopping.

The Indicator works properly and clicks regularly when the turn signal is engaged. The turn signal lights themselves work properly, as does the hazard flasher when engaged.

Sound seems to be coming from the dash area near the hazard flasher button. Flasher replaced. Problem persists.

I have dismounted the electronics control module from beneath the glove box and checked connectors and squeezed the box while the turn indicator was clicking. This seemed to have no effect on the problem.

Recently, the headlamp warning "ding" has also begun to chime along with the turn indicator clicking. When this happens, the clicking and chiming are in unision.

I am trying to pinpoint the cause of the problem before I systemactically begin to replace parts because of the cost of the parts.

Before you just throw parts at it willy nilly, get the system scanned for codes, there will be stored "B" or "U" codes that will point you to the bad part. The service engine light does NOT need to be lit for these codes! A scantool that can read these codes is needed!
