Ok my girlfriends car is doing this thing where it thinks its been stolen and it will turn over but not start my friend is a mechanic and he said its the neutral saftey swithc where is that located and how hard would it be to change if possible

The park/ neutral switch is located on the top of the transmission where it meets the engine. They are not to hard to replace, but it has to be lined up correctly so the gear shifter and transmission agree.
