how do you remove the half shaft

I'll give you a procedure and will post it. However there are situations that involve some tools and finess that is not best understood until the particular situation occurs. I will post the procedure but when you do it..make sure someone is here when you need them...which may not be possible. OR be prepared to let it set until then.

Get a new axle nut P/N 10289657 The revised torque is 173 ft ibs. The reman shaft you buy may have it..check first.
