2003 Chevy Malibu Engine frozen

2003 Chevy Malibu

My sister is currently in downtown chicago. She went to leave a parking lot and the car successfully started up. After driving a few feet, the car shut off. She tried to turn the key again and the engine made a high pitch squealing noise. She's tried a few times now and the same thing keeps happening. Any advice to what it may be?

sounds like either a bad spot in the flywheel or a bad starter motor i would use a pipe wrench to turn the motor over manuly a few turns than try too start is if that dosent work that u probly need a starter hope this helps lsauto
