I have recently had a problem with removing the key from the ignition. When the key would not come out I could jiggle the stick in park and then the key would come out. My sister was driving the car and managed to rip the key out of the ignition. Now the key will go in but it will not turn. I got a new ignition cylinder and went to install it, but to remove the old cylinder the key needs to be in the "run" position. I cannot turn the key. Is there another way to disconnect the cylinder?
