2002 Chevy Malibu misses

2002 CHEVROLET MALIBU

it misses at idel speed but quets when accelerating and at hwy speed. I have put the code reader on it and it says miss fier on cylinder one. I have put new plugs and wiers fuel filter PVC vavel air filter and replaced all intake gaskets and put a new injector in cylinder one. but is stell mising

Is there corrosion or carbon tracking on the cylinder 1 coil tower?

no, they are clean and seem to have a good spark it will only miss when in gear

It sounds like spark jumping to a ground, or a mechanical problem. This would be best to have a shop check it out. It is going to take some time aand specialized equipment to diagnose.

I fixed it. It was a blown head gasket

All the little details,no matter how small, will help us to find the best diagnostic route. I'm glad that you were able to find the problem. The spark plugs will normally show the cylinder that has a bad head gasket.
