Engine Performance problem
2002 Chevy Malibu 6 cyl Automatic

I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH MY CARS PERFORMANCE, SUCH AS MY CAR ONLY GOING NO MORE THAN 15 MILES PERHOUR. I RECENTLY HAD THE FUEL FILTER CHANGED AND SINCE THEN MY CAR HAS NO POWER. I WAS THINKING IT MIGHT BE THAT THE FUEL FILTER NEEDS TO BE TIGHTEND, OR THERE MIGHT BE A LEAK SOME WHERE IN THE VACUME LINE. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Sounds too me like the filter was installed the wroung way it will only flow one way but can be installed either way a check of the fuel pressure will tell u if u have the correct pressure hope this helps lsauto

Same thing happened to me, it was the catalitic convertor.
