Electrical problem
2002 Chevy Malibu 87500 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I know that my neutral safety switch is bad. I was wondering though my car does not immediately start when I turn the key. It will make a clicking noise. I also noticed that recently my headlights dont come on automatically or my dash lights. At times my stereo wont work at all. My power windows only work occasionally. My check engine light is on and service engine soon light as well. My check engine light recently just started to stay on before when i would start my car i had to wait for the check engine light to light up on the dash then my car would start. Could these problems be caused by a bad neutral safety switch or something else and what else could be the problem.

What you need to do is get the vehicle in to Autozone if you have one within the vicinity-its free service and have it scanned for OBD2 code/s and comeback with it-this is where we start the diagnosis. Without it there's no starting point to troubleshoot the engine management system.

Guess work and throwing parts to it-is not gonna make it
