2001 Chevy Malibu I think the computer is messed up.

The lighter (car charger) quit working the gas and speedometer quit and drop to 0 just (whenever) and start working again when they want.
Could this be with the computer? and what is strange is my daughters car 99 Dodge Neon is doing the same only more often and her radio is acting funny or not working at times. What could this be and why both cars about the same time?Please Help

have the vehicle scanned for trouble codes and get back to me. You may also wanna check your fuses for the cig lighter problem
